As a recycling initiative our aim is to demonstrate that furniture can be reused and restored rather than dumped carelessly or sent for disposal in a landfill. Added value for the community is also created through local economic opportunities, employment and training.

Many unwanted items of furniture are often thrown out before the end of their useful life and usually end up in landfill or are “fly tipped”, However many pieces of furniture may only a have a small fault: a wonky leg or damaged surface, and with some care and repair would be suitable for creative reuse.
